Still in survival mode here. I'm overly frustrated with all the feeding issues--the stupid feeding pump acting up, Aubrey screaming at her bottle like it's been poisoned...*sigh* We know she knows how to suck/swallow/breathe in the pattern that she's supposed to--she sucks on her pacifier sometimes like it's going out of style. Put the bottle in her mouth and she gets mad. She did take a little from it at her 6p.m. feeding, but I'll be glad to go to speech therapy Monday.
Adam finally sent me upstairs this afternoon to have a little time to myself. I exercised and took a shower a talked to a good friend on the phone for an hour. I felt better after that. What would I do without him?
One of our nurse friends from the NICU is coming over in a few minutes to change out Aubrey's feeding tube for us. Technically we could do it, but we feel so much better knowing someone with experience is helping us out. :)
