Thankfully our sweet pea had a better night last night--the nurse said, "she was sweet. Well, she's always sweet, but she was even sweeter than usual." :) She had one episode that lasted about 15 seconds--the nurse said it wasn't as bad as some have been and they didn't have to bag her. She had a bath (her hair will be all fluffy!), and she weighs 4lb 6oz. Hopefully that antacid medicine is helping her some.

I forgot to add that she was supposed to have her eyes checked this morning about 7 or 7:30. They had to start dilating them about 5:45a.m. Feisty pants does not like the eye drops. :(

Thank the good Lord that this afternoon was peaceful. I held Aubrey until my arm went numb, then I passed her to Adam who held her until his butt went numb. She's holding her body temp really well (in clothes, swaddled in two blankets, and with a 3rd blanket on top) and doesn't even have to wear a hat for now. She barely even de-satted this afternoon (aside from when my mom first got there to see her, but it wasn't an episode), and we also noticed that she didn't gag and choke nearly as much. Hopefully the antacid medicine (along with a lot of prayer) is helping her reflux calm down some. The nurse told me that the eye doctor that checked Aubrey this morning said he saw some changes and wanted to check her again next week. No idea what that means. They usually check every 2 weeks, but it's been 3 weeks since the last check...I guess because of the holidays. Hopefully we'll hear some more news on that tomorrow or Monday.
